The Bull's Head Inn at Cracoe
This could be pre-1900, what with the very fine hat on the lady passenger and the supplies being delivered by dray man and his trusty horse.
It stopped being a pub so long ago many people have forgotten that it ever was.
The glass slide original had survived the years quite well but could not resist the magic of cleaning, spot removal and tone control.
Grassington Square 1900 - 1910
With a Maypole, long gone, in the middle of the square, and a Postman in full uniform, looking like a policeman.
The photo came on a glass slide so it had hundreds of small marks that needed removing one at a time. It is worth the effort because it gives the photo its richness, especially when the sepia tone is added.
Skipton Cattle market next to Sheep Street, but not a sheep in sight! Probably about 1900.
